About this Event
Come and meet the Mob!
Saturday 29th June, 2pm start
Join us for a guided farm walk at Sandy Hill Farm, Sherborne, to learn about our 100% pasture fed cattle and our free range, 'pastured' laying hens. We hope to show you how our regenerative, nature friendly farming is helping to rejuvenate our farm.
What is mob-grazing and why is it good for our cattle, our soils and for natural life? Come and find out the answer - and get the chance to ask us lots of questions!
Hopefully we will be able to see a good display of wildflowers growing in our pastures accompanied by glourious summer sunshine!
We will also show you how we are keeping our laying hens and what makes their eggs so special.
Our beef is certified Pasture for life - come and find out why that is such a good thing too!
We will also have a small selection of frozen beef available to purchase as well as fresh eggs, honey and biltong.
Suitable for adults and children. Sorry, no dogs please.
Approximately 1 and a half hour guided farm walk of moderate difficulty followed by tea and cake.
Parking will be via the farmyard - we will supply directions before the event.
Tickets are free - Please just book one ticket per group/car i.e. even if a group of 4 of you plan on coming, 1 ticket is sufficient. We will email directions to those with tickets just before the event.
