The moment has arrived! Join us for the Halifax Electronic Live Music Sample Song Challenge, where the top tracks from the community will be unveiled. After weeks of creativity, experimentation, and hard work, the finalists will present their 3-6 minute tracks created with the sample pack provided at the start of the challenge.Event Highlights:
Live Track Presentations: Finalists will present their tracks in front of an audience, showcasing how they’ve reimagined the provided sample pack and turned it into an engaging electronic song.
Sample Usage Breakdown: Each finalist will have the opportunity to explain their approach to using the sample pack, how they manipulated the sounds, and any creative techniques or challenges they encountered along the way.
Judging Panel: Our expert panel of judges will score each track based on originality, creativity, live performance integration, and overall production quality. Judges include AUGH & HELM members.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: The winner will receive 2 ableton packs of their choice
Runner-Up Prizes: Additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, including 1 ableton pack each
