The SAFE U Initiative is pleased to launch our pro bono community mental health project in collaboration with the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA). This project aims to initiate positive behavioural change and prevent drug abuse through promotion of anti-drug messages. You DO NOT need to be a drug abuser or at risk of drug abuse to benefit from the project as it is open to the general public. If you would like to start a positive change in your life with the help of our volunteers and learn beneficial anti-drug messages at the same time, this might be an ideal opportunity to ignite change in you! Best of all, you do not need to pay to access this mental health service project.
There will be a total of 3 sessions from November to January which are provided absolutely free of charge. We are currently accepting expressions of interest for all sessions and registration for our 1st session on 9 November (Saturday) will commence on 25 October (Friday). Refreshments will be provided for this session.
If you meet the following criteria, DM now to express your interest!
1. Individuals who would like to learn how to initiate positive behavioural change while learning anti-drug messages.
2. Individuals who are able to fully commit to the session date(s) and come on time. Absence without reason will not be accepted as this is funded by NCADA.
3. Individuals with no serious mental health conditions and not at risk of harm to self and others.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you! :)
