The Ryan Venora Quartet is a Brooklyn based group heavily influenced by contemporary improvised music that embraces its' roots in the jazz tradition, and sets out to create music that immerses listeners in new, yet familiar soundscapes. The group performs a variety of original compositions inspired by the modern ECM sound, as well as music of some of the great post-bop composers ie. Kenny Wheeler, Joe Henderson, Herbie Hancock.
