The Rupple Brothers are a psychedelic folk ensemble who combine a love for music, life, and improvisation to create a musical space unlike any other. Born unto song, brothers Evan and Cole, and an ever expanding cast of soul brothers, traverse the entire spectrum of sound and space; each being proficient in multiple ways of musical strangeness, while bringing a positive and powerful family message with their brand of wild folk. They have carved themselves out a respected place amongst the Michigan music scene, throwing their own grassroots festival (Handmade Music Festival) and playing top tier venues across the state. They plan to carry their stories of song to the furthest reaches of the universe.Forged in friendship and family, the West Michigan-based band, The Smokin Dobroleles, has the uncanny ability to feed off each other and their audience to create the perfect mix of medicine to cure what ails you. The Smokin melodic tremolo and solid chops of Mike Rennas resonator ukulele and songwriting skills blend perfectly with Abe Kurzers soulful dobro and their vocal harmonies create a singular sound that will have your whole body swaying. Rounding out this eclectic crew and sure to have you smiling, we have Brandon Tabor holding down the low end on upright bass and the well seasoned, fearless timekeeper, John Ellsworth, on all things drums and percussion.
