The RUB's rise to rock infamy is no story for the faint of heart. The RUB does things that have been done before, like never before. Before The RUB did things like that, those things had not been done. The RUB likes that those things have not ever been done the way The RUB does them. Do The RUB then be done... or at least til they rock The Hive again!
Power trio The RUB conjure vinyl, heavy-footed grooves, martini dance steps, stereo-up-windows-down drive-by joy, coffeehouse head-hums, and anthemic lighter-lit halls. From hi-fi intensity to feather touch, their performances are an eclectic mix of titles and eras. THE RUB is Cary Beare (guitar and vocals), Michael Koep (drums, cymbals and vocals) and Cristopher Lucas (vocals and bass guitar). The ensemble leans deep into focused showmanship, and incite random smiles and spontaneous dance moves.
