Save the date for the inaugural concert in UU Petaluma's Sanctuary Concerts series, featuring The Rowan Brothers (with Dick Bright on violin) and opening band Natural Bridges. This series of coffeehouse-style concerts will emphasize a listening environment in the acoustically beautiful UUP sanctuary. We will highlight and support the work of the Sonoma County Sanctuary Coalition, as we seek to protect our migrant community.Donation: $20 (or more!) at the door. All donations will go to the musicians.
The Rowan Brothers are an iconic part of Bay Area music history, adding their harmonies to our soundscape for several decades. Acoustic roots/Americana, signed by Clive Davis/Columbia Records and later David Geffen(Warner/Asylum) for their original songs, tight brotherly harmonies and haunting melodies on guitars and mandolin, featuring an eclectic mix with a sound of modern day Everly Brothers meets the Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and Bluegrass. Special guest, virtuoso violinist Dick Bright, known for his bands SRO and Dick Bright Orchestra.https://www.facebook.com/therowanbrothers
