The ROOTS Art Show celebrates Black/Brown art through an Afrocentric creative experience
About this Event

Join us on December 16th from 4pm-8pm at Braid Mills for an art show of 2023! The ROOTS Art Show is a collaborative artistic experience highlighting the work of different artists, working in a variety of mediums. Black creatives are at the center of our focus at The ROOTS Art Show and our itinerary is meant to be a reflection of that. Our goal is to create an experience for artists and the community to come together, and celebrate creativity and artistic expression. In addition to art for purchase, there will be live music, performances, and more!

DRESS CODE: All White/Silver attire

Theme: This experience will make you feel you are walking in a Winter Wonderland of Art.

Experience: There will be FREE snowflake and ornament crafts available for all guest.

EVENT DETAILS:

Tickets: General Admission tickets will be available at the door for $40.00 and can be paid via Cash app, Venmo or cash. Early Bird ticket will be available at $35 until Nov. 1st Please note all tickets are non refundable.

Wine Tasting Experience :$35 Early Bird (plus processing fee)advance ticket available via Eventbrite. $40 General Admission. FYI: This is an add on, this will not give you entry to the show!

Food & Drink: Libations will be available at our OPEN BAR, from 4pm-5pm. All admission tickets include a 2 drink ticket. You can choose from Beer, Wine, Soft drinks, water.

We will also have chefs selling flavors of the diaspora so that you can leave with a full heart, as well as a full belly!

Transportation/Parking: There are limited parking spot attached to the venue however there is plenty of free street parking.

Accessibility: There are entrances that has a ramp and the space is easily accessible for a wheelchair. Bathrooms are near the main entrance and handicap accessible.

Health & Safety: Mask are optional, however encouraged. This event is inside with access to an outdoor area. Seating will be available but is limited.
