'The Romans' recently released its second album, "On Sydney Road", performing to a sellout audience at Brunswick's The Jazz Lab. It regularly features vocalists, including Angela Fabian (The Voice, Brisbane), Elly Poletti (The Voice) and Chantal Mitvalsky (New-York, Melbourne), all to sell-out shows. However, the band prides itself on its unique original instrumental compositions and has been performing these tunes regularly at Bar 303, Open Studio and Paris Cat Jazz Club. It is keen to trial and support other live music venues.
The band has been broadening its local support base beyond its dedicated core supporter. It is establishing itself as one of Melbourne's finest original instrumental fusion bands with some exciting new material being developed for a 3rd album around mid-2025.
