ALL WHEELS: Roller skates, inline blades, scooters, unicycles, longboards, skateboards, wheelchairs, buggies!
ALL SKATE STYLES: Skate laps with people around the courts, or learn slalom trick skating around all the cones, or get your groove on with jam/rhythm dance skaters. There's also games for kids on skates!
ALL AGES: Toddlers to seniors!
ALL ABILITIES: Complete beginners to expert skaters from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & YouTube! You just need to be able to roll and stop confidently as this is NOT a Learn to Skate class, just a social skate.
WHEN: 5pm QLD 'till past sundown.
WHERE: Mudgeeraba netball courts in Firth Park, off Somerset Drive.
PRE-LOVED & NEW MERCH: Bring unwanted & outgrown skates & accessories, to donate/sell, after advertising it on Gold Coast Rollout’s Facebook Buy & Sell section. If you bring anything to the rollout, ensure it is clearly tagged with "Free" or a price, as well as your mobile in case you're away from it, and put it along the perimeter of the netball courts where people skate past.

ABOUT US: The Gold Coast Rollout has thousands of members & followers from Byron to Brisbane, that roller skate/blade for fun or professionally, across all skate disciplines (dance/jam/rhythm skating, roller derby, figure skating, speed skating, trick/slalom, aggressive skating, etc). We share tips & arrange skate meet-ups including our weekly Sunday & Monday community skates...Our admins include top skaters across disciplines in a voluntary community spirit promoting skating; doing it so we practice & learn together for free & for fun. Nothing's provided (e.g. skates etc). We recommend you wear protection. You'll be skating at your own risk. If you fall it's nobody's fault that's connected with this event. Circumstances beyond our control may cause the event to be changed/cancelled, such as poor weather. We'll announce any change/cancellation here. Photos will be taken & published on social media.
