EXP bring their The Rolling Stones & Led Zeppelin tribute to King River Tavern on Saturday night 29th of March! Emerging in the early '60s as a rougher alternative to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones played gritty hard rocking tunes, rooted in the blues, and were at the forefront of the transatlantic "British invasion" where British bands brought the sounds of Afro-American blues to wider popularity in the USA. "I know it's only Rock'n'Roll, but I like it!" EXP will play a set of The Rolling Stones greatest hits, including Satisfaction, Jumping Jack Flash, Start me Up & Honky Tonk Women.
Led Zeppelin were one of the most influential rock supergroups to emerge in the late 60s, and into the 70s. EXP pay tribute to this iconic act with their re-vamped Led Zeppelin tribute.EXP play masterpiece Led Zeppelin IV in it’s entirety, including classics such as Black Dog, Rock and Roll, and the Stairway to Heaven, then other rocking iconic Zeppelin songs like Babe I’m Gonna Leave Away, Dazed and Confused, Immigrant Song, Ramble On and Heartbreaker.
EXP are Great Southern WA’s premier exponents of psychedelic blues rock. EXP debuted in 2019, with tribute sets to Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Over the next two years these sets each developed into their own full shows. In 2021, EXP launched their Led Zeppelin IV tribute, 50 years after the epic album was released. Based in the Great Southern, near Kinjarling-Albany and Kwoorabup-Denmark, EXP have played their rocking tributes and mixed classics sets to audiences around South West WA, from Bunbury to Bremer Bay, Margaret River, Manjimup and more.
