The Funhouse Lounge invites you to a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience with The Rocky Horror Show, the cult classic rock musical you think you know — until you’ve seen it Funhouse-style. This immersive, blood-red, glitter-drenched spectacular blends vintage vaudeville, haunted carnival and glam-rock cabaret into an unforgettable night of music, mischief and mayhem.
Directed by Sara King, this production reimagines Rocky Horror as a deranged burlesque from a
haunted mirror world — seductive, strange, and soaked in style. “This is Rocky Horror as if it crawled out of a velvet-lined trunk from a haunted sideshow,” says King. “We’ve embraced the decadent, the dangerous, and the deliciously weird. Think Clara Bow and Bowie running away to join the ghost circus. It’s immersive, it’s unhinged, and it’s pure Funhouse.”
Come dressed to distress! Whether you’re a clown or creature of the night, audiences are highly encouraged to arrive in costume and be part of the madness. Callbacks are welcome (but please don’t sing over the performers), and prop bags will be available at the door. It’s a full-throttle, fourth-wall-smashing experience — a late-night ritual for the theatrical and the unholy.
