100 YEARS AGO the roaring 20s was a time of economic prosperity. Fashion, music and fun were at the forefront with speakeasys, Charlie Chaplin, flapper dresses and stylish hats. Cotton was king in Acworth and Main Street was first paved.SAVE THE DATE: On Friday, September 26th, come celebrate Acworth’s "ROARING 20s" with The Save Acworth History Foundation. This year's event will once again feature the highly entertaining DJ and emcee duo. Heavy hors d’ouevres will again be provided by 1885 Grill. There will be a cash bar with beer and wine.
