Lovely people of Riverfield! We have had an idea… We saw some incredible Christmas decorations in the area last year, so we thought this year we would turn Riverfield into a Living Advent Calendar.
If you live in Riverfield, we'd love you to take part!
Here's how it works:
- 24 homes (minimum) sign up to take part.
- Every home is allocated a number between 1 & 24, one for each day of Advent.
- Each property taking part decorates a window(s), door, front of your house or garden - all out Christmas, arty, simple, themed - the choice is yours and you can go as small or big as you like, but it isn’t a competition!
- On your allocated date (i.e. 4th December) the decorations are out or window is lit through to New Year so that on 25 December all windows are lit or decorations are out, completing the Riverfield Advent Trail 2024.
Advent Trail maps will be available online, in the notice boards and on a Newsletter delivered just before 1st December, so that people can follow the trail bringing some community joy to Riverfield at Christmas.
