About this Event
Live, on stage, accompanied by The Ringing Nativity Performance Ensemble, The Christmas Story comes alive in the World Stage Theater at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC.
This full-scale theatrical production features the world premiere of THE HEAVENS ARE RINGING -- an original script with a fresh view of the Nativity story. See the story through the eyes of Bezalel the metal worker and his daughter, Miriam. Living in 1st century Jerusalem, Miriam is eager to see the promised Messiah. As her father's apprentice, she makes bells for the priest's ephods and for Herod's soldiers. She does not know that her skilled craft will bring her face to face with the Magi -- or that she will play a crucial role in the birth of the Messiah. Join Miriam on her journey to Christmas, accompanied by the glorious harmonics of English Handbells
