About this Event
This event is FREE thanks to LikeRightNow Films, Killingly High School, EASTCONN, and several local agencies and community partners. Pizza and water will be available for free; baked goods also available for purchase. Proceeds will support local students with disabilities.
To attend you must register for the event by 3/28/2025 using the "Reserve a Spot" button on this page.
We will also be collecting donations (monetary, cat food, beds, toys, etc.) for Paws Cat Shelter CT, a local non-profit, no-K*ll, all-volunteer run cat and kitten rescue. Our students love volunteering at Paws and they have been a great partner with a wonderful mission.
Accessibility: Thank you to Killingly High School for providing an accessible venue for this event! There is plenty of accessible parking and the school is also wheelchair accessible. The film will be shown with open captions; audio description is available upon request. The discussion will include auto-captioning. When registering, please indicate what accommodations you will need.
Image Description: At the top of this page is a picture of Samuel smiling in his wheelchair wearing a Red Sox jersey at a baseball game. βThe Ride Ahead" in yellow text is in the top left corner.
