Haitian Art Distributors is partnering with the Watergate Gallery & Frame Design to showcase The Rhythm and Colors of Haiti Art Show - a must see exhibition of Haitian paintings from October 26, 2024 - January 31, 2025. The show takes place at the Watergate Gallery & Frame Design, which is located next to the Watergate Hotel in Georgetown DC. The gallery sits on the ground floor of the Watergate Shops. Uber drop off location: 2510 Virginia Avenue NW. Walk left down the main stairwell and keep left on the pathway until you arrive at our show around the corner. Haiti became the world's first black-led republic when it gained its independence from French colonial control and slavery in 1804. This country has faced many hurdles throughout its history from political unrest, natural disasters, extreme economic hardships and poverty, Cholera outbreaks and a more recent spike of gang violence. This art show commemorates the talent of the Haitian people, who have a strong resilience to survive and stay hopeful in the midst of all adversities. Haiti is a country so rich in culture and history, and we hope to showcase this reality through the vitality of Haitian Art!

**The show will be ongoing from October 26 to January 31, 2025. Please stop by for our opening reception on Saturday 10/26 at 5pm! Then the show will be open to everyone Monday - Friday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturdays until Friday January 31. Uber drop off location: 2510 Virginia Avenue NW. Please walk left down the pathway passed the U.S. Postal Service and take the escalator down to the ground floor. Then, keep right till arriving at our show around the corner.
