Phase III of the cemetery project is underway, and we have some exciting NEWS!!!! The Rhode Island Training School Cemetery Project has been a recipient of a 2025 Litter Free RI Grant to help with supplies and marketing materials for our event.We invite you to our Spring 2025 Stakeholders/Community Cookout and Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Rain Date of Saturday, May 3, 2025)
This will be an opportunity for our project supporters to come back together, bring a friend, enjoy light refreshments and cookout fare but, most importantly, to continue the work we started last year of removing debris and trash from the cemetery.
Join us and hear about the progress we’ve made since our gathering in Fall 2023. Our efforts to remove obstructions to view the property and our work around identification and writing obituaries with students and interested parties throughout the State and the country.
