THE RHIZOMES
The Rhizomes emerged in 2019 from a conversation in a Chester Park alley. The three neighbors have been rocking out in neighborhood basements and local venues ever since. Their musical vibe is singer-songwriter storytelling with off-ramps into power pop and the occasional punk side eye. Witty and heartfelt, their songs explore how not to be a jerk amidst planetary and existential crisis. This group’s warm vocals and melodic music will elevate your mood and exercise your resistance to unsolicited advice, incessant worrying, and conventional corporate society.
