WTS HRC Speaker Series Luncheon:
The rEVolution is in the Details - Strategies for Equitable Electric Vehicle Deployment
Come join us for an exciting in-person event where we'll explore the intricacies of equitable electric vehicle (EV) deployment!
The increasing adoption of EVs presents a unique opportunity for communities to reduce air pollution and achieve environmental goals. But how can we ensure that our most vulnerable populations also benefit? This event will delve into the development of equitable EV infrastructure and policies currently being implemented in the City of Richmond, aligning with the RVAgreen2050 Climate Equity Action Plan.
Our presentation will address the barriers to equitable electrification and propose strategies to overcome these challenges, as identified in the Richmond Connects EV Needs Analysis and Deployment Plan. Through stakeholder and public engagement, the plan prioritizes strategies to ensure that those most affected by poor air quality receive the benefits of electrification.
