On the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our country the Huntington Beach Historical Society is proud to host "The Revolution" in HB Central Park! Step back in time with historical demonstrations, battles, educational presentations, shops, food, music, and more! Meet the likes of George Washington, John Adams, and the Marquis de Lafayette, learn how soldiers lived and fought in the 18th century, and learn to see the Revolution from new perspectives. This year's program includes presentations on Native American experiences in the Revolution, and the role of both France and Spain in American Independence - including how California was involved! This event is absolutely free and suitable for all ages. Join us for an exceptionally entertaining and educational event!
