You do not want to miss Yusef Salaam. A member of New York City Council representing Harlem, the city’s 9th council district. He is one of the Exonerated of the Central Park Five. Yusef was awarded an Honorary Doctorate (2014) and is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Barack Obama in 2016. He authored his memoir Better, Not Bitter and is the co-author of Punching the Air.
