On February 15th, Uberto Paolini, the director of THE RETURN, will be present in the theater for a post-film discussion moderated by Barbara Graziosi, the Ewing Professor of Greek at Princeton University and chair of the Classics Department. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: In this retelling of Homer’s Odyssey, Ralph Fiennes stars as Odysseus, who has washed ashore on his home island of Ithaca after being away for 20 years fighting in the Trojan Wars. Once a mighty king, now unrecognizable, he must save his wife and son from looming threats. Starring Ralph Fiennes as Odysseus and Juliette Binoche as his wife Penelope.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿: Uberto Pasolini founded Red Wave Films in 1993. He produced The Full Monty, which took over 250 million dollars at the worldwide box office, won a Bafta for Best Film and was nominated for four Oscars. Other Red Wave produced films include Palookaville and The Emperor’s New Clothes. Uberto made his directorial debut in 2008 with Sri Lanka set “Machan” which won numerous international awards. He followed this with “Still Life” which starred Eddie Marsan and Joanne Froggatt and premiered at the Venice Film Festival where he was awarded Best Director, Orizzonti. “Nowhere Special” starring James Norton which also premiered in Orizzonti was released last year in the US to great critical acclaim. Uberto’s latest feature ‘The Return’ stars Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche, it opened in the US in December.
