The Resistance Cafe is a NEW monthly coffeehouse and open mic in Beverly, MA for LGBTQ+ teens/young adults and their allies - ALL AGES ARE WELCOME! Join us for our INAUGURAL CELEBRATION OF RESISTANCE THROUGH MUSIC, VOICE, AND ART!
Each month will feature an LGBTQ+ artist/performer and an open mic. Come to watch performances, meet other members of the community, and/or perform for a supportive audience.
Our INAUGURAL EVENT will feature The Femmes!
The Femmes are an all-woman and non-binary wedding band specializing in songs by female and non-binary artists. Founded in 2022 by Ellie Brigida, their roster includes Berklee alumni, touring artists, veteran wedding band performers, and pit band musicians. They're so excited to play an acoustic set at the Resistance Cafe for its inaugural event!
The open mic welcomes musicians, poets, storytellers, magicians, comedians, etc. to sign-up for 10-minute slots. First priority will be given to teen and young adult (under age 35) performers. Others are welcome as space is available.

6:00 - Doors Open, Refreshments, Socializing, Open Mic Sign-Up
7:00 - Open Mic performances begin and we shift into a listening room.
