Come join us on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00-7:30pm for a presentation by Tye Hiltunen, a local historian… and a former MDC intern! Learn about how women played a crucial role in shaping the Iron Range’s historically socialist culture through intense labor militancy and challenging traditional notions of women’s roles at home.
This will be the first presentation of a new quarterly event series entitled The Research Center Presents. Entry is FREE, and complimentary hot drinks will be available.
So, come learn about an interesting aspect of our local history! (And come support Tye—we’re very excited to have him start off this series.)
