Guest artist and renowned composer Armando Bayolo performs along CCU students and faculty as a culmination of his residency at CCU. Born in 1973 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, to Cuban parents, Bayolo has been hailed for his “suggestive aural imagination” (El Nuevo Día) in works that are “full of lush ideas and a kind of fierce grandeur” (The Washington Post). The REP Project is an interdisciplinary collaborative project to diversify the musical repertoire traditionally studied and performed.Saturday, April 12, 5 p.m.
