The Remembrance
Please join the Office of Multicultural Ministries for a special event where we will gather to honor the nearly 600 Black laborers uncovered through the research of the Reparations Program. This event, entitled, The Remembrance, will feature a striking display of the hundreds of laborers who toiled to build and maintain this campus. It will also highlight the recently uncovered location of St. Cyprians Chapel, the "colored chapel" that was established to segregate Black VTS employees, but instead became a place where local Black residents found and created community with one another.
The Remembrance will take place on Saturday, March 1st at 10 am in Scott Lounge and is open to the entire VTS community.
