Get ready to make a difference while enjoying a beautiful day at the beach! ?️ On October 20th, join us at Henley Beach Jetty for a fun run event hosted by the Adelaide University Physiotherapy Association (AUPA), all in support of the Stroke Foundation.
Whether you're walking or running, this event offers something for everyone, with distances designed for all fitness levels:
* 2.5km Walk
* 5km Run
* 10km Run
The fun kicks off at 10:30AM with a 10:00AM warm-up, so gather your friends and family to participate or cheer from the sidelines. Plus, for the competitive spirits out there, prizes will be awarded to the fastest male and female runners in both the 5km and 10km categories!
After the run, stick around for live music and a well-earned brunch at a local café (TBC). It's a perfect way to relax, enjoy the beachside atmosphere, and connect with fellow participants, all while supporting an important cause.
All proceeds will go directly to the Stroke Foundation, helping fund essential stroke rehabilitation programs, awareness initiatives, and critical research that will improve the lives of stroke survivors and their families. Registration for the event is free, however, there will be a donation portal and ways to donate on the day. Our goal is to raise $1000 for the Stroke Foundation and would love for you to help us achieve that goal.
