Regency romance lovers, have you been pining for an event to sate your desires to live the story? Might we suggest Dallas' annnnual Regency Era Ball? This one is for YOU.
We welcome you to join us Friday, March 13, 2026, for an evening of merriment and revelry at The Hilton Dallas Lincoln Center.
Regency Era Ball exclusive passholders will enjoy decadent ambiance, curated music, and they will be granted SPECIAL access to the following events leading up to the Ball:
The Social, beginning at the hour of noon:
• Jane Austen Bingo (noon)–Even if Jane Austen was more into playing card games (as was befitting for her class), we think she would enjoy this particular game, which is based upon her works.
• Regency Mixer (1:00 PM)- Looking to speak to a few fresh faces before the Regency Ball so you have some new friends to share a table with? Join us for a low-key meet and greet event, where a get-to-know-you game will be played. And who knows, you may find some fun gossip, helpful sewing tips, a new dancing partner, or even a new lifelong friend!
• Full Dance Cards and Fluttering Fans (2:00 PM) – Immerse yourself into the true spirit of the Regency Romance era by decorating a proper dance card or fan for the Regency Ball on Friday evening. The glory of the internet provides many examples of Regency era dance cards and ladies’ fans, but it is always more fun to create your own! There will be a bit of paper, pens, and some trimmings, and you are welcome to bring your own supplies as well! Your imagination is the main requirement in this event. Feel free to be as proper... or improper... as you would like.
• Regency Dance Lessons (5:00 PM)- Please join us in the Lakeside Ballroom to learn how to properly dance in the Regency style. A Regency Era Caller will be your instructor. During the Regency Ball, this same Caller will be present and calling some of the same dances you learned at this lesson! No partner or previous dance experience required.
• A time to change into evening attire
• Evening Promenade (8:30PM) - This cultivated stroll will lead you through all public areas of the venue and grounds, allowing others to see and appreciate how absolutely fabulous you look. This is also a good time to view other areas and activities ALL-CON has to offer, as well. Meetup will be in the Lobby of the Lakeside Ballroom at 8:30 PM. Once all participants are lined up, organizers will lead the Promenade on a designated route, returning to the entrance of the Lakeside Ballroom just in time for the commencement of the Regency Ball.
• Regency Era Ball (9:00 PM) - Let the music, mayhem, and merriment of the day commence! The Regency Era Ball features plenty of dance space as well as lounging areas, so whatever your pleasure, we shall have it. Music is a selection of period and of modern music. We look forward to carousing with you in whatever fashion you deem best. As always, era-appropriate costumes and attire are welcomed and encouraged.
