About
Living in an Anatolian village, Ali is still deeply in love with his wife Aysel and dreams of winning her affection. He makes a living by harvesting canes like all men in their village. They need money, but Ali is not even able to provide for their basic needs as he refuses to submit to Yahya, the leader of the local gang. Fed up with Ali’s stubbornness, Aysel starts working for Yahya, which devastates Ali. To turn things around, Ali makes a bold attempt, leading to a disaster as the gang burns all his harvests. He takes a shelter in his shed on the lake, but a tragic accident leads Ali to K*ll one of Yahya’s men. Ali struggles to accept the blood on his hands. But to his relief, the gap seems to be closing between him and Aysel. Soon, Ali realizes that as everyone searches for lost men, the circle is closing in on him.
