Collections Manager Lori Erickson will exhibit a recently uncovered powder horn from Joseph Warren’s home – known to many as the Grandfather of the Revolution. Following Ms. Erickson’s presentation of the object, scholars will explore the history of powder horns and Joseph Warren’s legacy – at the intersection of medicine and military. Featuring preeminent Warren scholar and author of Founding Martyr: The Life and Death of Dr. Joseph Warren, the American Revolution’s Lost Hero.
