The Red Yarn Band weaves roots rock music & puppetry into high-energy, interactive performances for all ages. Featuring acclaimed Portland family performer Red Yarn, members of his musical family, a tight rhythm section and top-notch instrumentalists, the band's shows are a raucous, inclusive celebration of the multicultural musical heritage of the USA.
Red Yarn & his family band have performed at Austin City Limits Festival, South by Southwest, Pilgrimage, Stagecoach, Pickathon and more. Red Yarn has been voted "Portland's Best Kindie Performer" in PDX Parent's Readers Favorites poll for eight years straight!
