The BIG ONE is coming on November 8. You know our weekly marketplace? Picture that in EVERY room of the building. Mountains of free clothes, household goods, toys, books, furniture—everywhere you look. Walk in and take what you need. No explaining. No proving anything. No money. Market Day: Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2050 W 1100 N, Chesterton, IN
WHAT IS THE REALLY FREE MARKET?
It's a community event where EVERYTHING IS FREE! No money is used, no trading, just giving and taking. It's a place where neighbors share things with each other without asking for anything in return.
Come look through clothes, household items, toys, books, and more—all free to take home. Take what you need...no catches, no costs, no kidding.
DONATE TO THE BIG ONE:
Fall cleaning time! Clear out those closets, attics, and garages. Your gently used items can find a new home with a neighbor who needs them.
Drop-off period: Now through Tuesday, November 4, 2025
Regular hours:
Monday - Thursday, 9 AM - 2 PM
Mondays, 4 PM - 6 PM
Wednesdays, 5 PM - 7 PM

IMPORTANT: We cannot accept ANY donations on the day of the market. All items must be dropped off by November 4th.
What can you donate?
-Clothes & shoes (clean and in good shape)
-Books and magazines
-Household items
-Toys and games
-Small furniture
-Kitchen items
-Garden tools
-Art supplies
-School supplies
If you have items that are used but still have life in them, we'll take them. If someone else would find it useful, we want it!
NOT ACCEPTED:
-Broken, ripped, or moldy items
-Large furniture
-Large appliances
-Car seats
-Used underwear
-VHS tapes
-Tube TVs
-Expired or recalled baby equipment
-Old magazines
VOLUNTEER WITH US:
Help make The Big One happen! We need volunteers to help set up during the week of November 3-7. Sorting, organizing, and transforming the building into a treasure trove for our community—it's hard work, but it's also fun and meaningful.
