About this Event
The Real Sarahs are a rising force in the West Coast Americana scene, renowned for their skillful harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and evocative storytelling. Core players Sarah Larkin, Sarah Ryan, and Jen Rund have captivated audiences with their unique blend of folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and country influences. Their organic sound enchants and uplifts, drawing listeners into the emotional landscapes of their music.
The Real Sarahs first captured their original songs on their self-titled EP in 2013. Since then, they have released three subsequent albums showcasing their evolving sound, emotional honesty, and musical versatility. Their 2024 release, Everything's Changed, co-produced with Grammy-nominated guitarist Alex de Grassi, is a representation of their musical evolution and has been celebrated by fans worldwide. These songs draw from personal experiences, life’s triumphs and challenges, and the beauty of human connection.
As a trio, Sarah Ryan, Sarah Larkin, and Jen Rund continue to grow creatively. Their music not only entertains but also inspires listeners to embrace vulnerability, empathy, and the power of storytelling. With their combined talents, they represent the heart of modern folk music, blending tradition with personal authenticity.
Erin Ash Sullivan is a New England-based, award-winning singer-songwriter. Her music—sometimes heartfelt, sometimes funny— reflects a deep sense of place, and her lyrics are always authentic and drawn from her lived experience. Her 2024 release, Signposts and Marks, debuted at #4 on the FAI Folk DJ chart, and Americana UK describes her as “a songwriter of the highest order.” She has appeared on the mainstage of the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and has won songwriting awards in the New England Songwriting Competition, the Great American Song Contest, and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.
