BAPTISTE TRUDEL (Instagram) began his culinary journey at 21, working at the Michelin-starred restaurant of Pierre Koffmann in London. A few years later, he caught the attention of Guy Martin and was hired as sous chef at the Grand Véfour in Paris. Paris soon became home for Baptiste, as he honed his craft at renowned establishments like Yard, Mordu, and Datcha. Known for his creative, relaxed, and experimental approach, Baptiste skillfully blends contrasting flavors (land/sea; sweet/salty). Humble in life and in his cuisine, he combines grand restaurant techniques with a street food touch, making his creations accessible. We are honored to have his creative genius cook at our event!
MARIE DELBARRY (Vogue) is a passionate French sommelier who lives for "music, wine & food." Since starting her career in 2016 at Saturne (a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris), she has learned from her experiences and the talented people she’s met. "Throughout my career, I’’ve been inspired by the extraordinary chefs I’ve worked with. By watching and learning the way chefs approach ingredients and create thoughtful combinations, I’ve been able to have a deeper understanding of wine in the sense that you need to be attentive to the vines and express your terroir to make something special." Marie spends her free time in vineyards and meeting winemakers, driven by her deep love for wine. For this special event, Marie is sharing some of very special bottles from her personal cellar, featuring gems from Jura and Auvergne. Stay tuned for more surprises!
JANOYA (Bandcamp) represents the new generation of artists bringing live music back to the studio. Led with his trumpet, this multi-instrumentalist group, Fungi, is a quintet Janoya founded in 2018. Fungi has released two records, the LP "Tendre Jeudi" (2020) and the EP "Canicule" (2021), and are working on a third! Janoya also co-composed "Nini," the new album by singer and poetess Bonnie Banane. His first self-produced EP, "La Source," is inspired by his influences from the likes of Gil Evans to OutKast, Stereolab, and Sam Gendel, blending jazz, funk, ambient, and hip hop. An instrumental tribute to nature, warm and tropical, Janoya skillfully reveals his dual talents as a jazzman and music producer.
