Ramblin Roses Album Launch
Featuring local music luminaries Luke Plumb and Dave McNamara and legends of the Melbourne jazz and folk scene Ronny Ferella, Jim Green and Steve Temple.
Capping off a year that includes 4 album releases in September, tours with Van Diemen’s Band and the highly lauded collaboration with Ensemble Kaboul Where Everything is Music, the nationwide launch of international trio Carr/MacKintosh/Plumb and as MD/composer of the Tasmanian tour of Ivanka Hren’s Forget-Me-Nots all the way from Slovenia, 2025 has been extraordinarily productive for Luke Plumb.
With return trips for more collaborations planned in Greece and Slovenia mid 2026 and a festival appearance booked in Glasgow at the prestigious Celtic Connections festival with Carr/MacKintosh/Plumb, there are no signs of slowing down.
Closer to home, this album launch for the RAMBLIN ROSES is hoped to be the first in a series of community hall activations as venues for a wide range of music events in the future.
