The final game of the year is here! Upon the Island of Hagi, the village of Moore-Kris is being raided by a horde of Weredeer Folk, they come at the dead of night to destroy and pillage the village. After 24 nights of raids, the villagers of Moore-Kris has had enough, donning their red and white hats and arming themselves, they prepare to defend their home on what would be the 25th and final night of these senseless raids.
Will the villagers of Moore-Kris defend their home or will the Weredeer complete their twisted tradition?
We are holding this event at Thomas Dalton Park in Fairy Meadow. If you see people waving swords and setting up bollards, you've found us!
TIME: 1:30pm-4:30pmish
FIRST TIME PLAYERS:
We are so excited to meet you and welcome you to our family! All you have to bring is a good attitude and a willingness to be whacked with foam weapons! Wear enclosed shoes and light, comfortable clothing, something you can run in, but also won't get sun burnt in! You will be provided with a sword and the knowledge (power) to use it!
If you are under the age of the 18, a guardian will need to be present, and perhaps they will even want to join the battle!
Please remember to bring plenty of water! New player training commences at 2:00pm, so make sure you're ready to go by then 😊
Don't forget about our class system! The rules can be found on the Battlecry website (type in Battlecry LARP and you've got it) or on our Facebook Group Battlecry - Five Islands. Have a read, get familiar with the new rules and get ready for a whole lot more fun!
