Old Town Toronto marks Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee
About this Event

In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating an unprecedented anniversary. Her 70th year on the throne is known as the Platinum Jubilee, and on June 2nd, it is being celebrated in every Commonwealth country, including right here in Toronto!

In the Old Town Toronto neighbourhood, we will be marking this historic occasion with an official proclamation by the Town of York Historical Society's Town Crier Hans Bathija, and a tour of St. Lawrence Hall with popular historian Bruce Bell, where he'll share tales of the neighbourhood rich history, and Toronto's royal connections.

Please note: This event is free and all are welcome, but we recommend RSVPing by clicking "register" to be alerted about changes or additions to the program. The tour of St. Lawrence Hall will include stairs. We cannot guarantee elevator availability on June 2nd.
