Enhance your leadership with the Purpose-Driven Leadership Journey. Align your purpose, elevate performance, and lead with lasting impact.
About this Event

In today’s non-profit sector, burnout, high turnover, and increasing demands are common challenges that leaders face. The Purpose-Driven Leadership Journey is a transformative two-day programme designed to equip non-profit leaders (and future leaders) with the skills, strategies, and mindset to navigate these challenges and thrive.

Led by Jon Duschinsky, a global expert in leadership development, this programme blends neuroscience, behaviour change, and performance tools to help you unlock your leadership potential, align your purpose with your organisation’s goals, and break free from limiting behaviours. Whether you’re struggling with fundraising pressures, team instability, or simply want to enhance your leadership skills, this programme offers practical solutions to ensure sustainable success.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Strategies to reduce burnout and retain top talent
  • Tools to adapt to rising costs and increased service demands
  • Techniques to maximise fundraising effectiveness with limited resources
  • Insights to build a resilient, high-performing team aligned with your mission
  • How to uncover your leadership "superpowers" and create a lasting impact

Programme Outline:

The Purpose-Driven Leadership ESSENTIALS is a two-day in-person programme that trains leaders to unlock new levels of performance, influence, engagement, creativity, and trust through the principles, mindset, and skills of purpose.

The programme begins with a 2-hour online session to establish how we’ll work together as a group, outline participant goals, and uncover our individual Operating Systems.

On arrival, we dive into the core of the work—using neuroscience to explore how behaviour patterns affect success and influence decision-making.

As participants deepen their understanding of their Operating Systems, they are guided to discover their Highest Value Path. They learn that purpose has always been calling them—they’ve simply been overlooking it.

Purpose and Vision are essential elements of every purpose-driven leader’s toolkit, so participants will align their purpose with their personal vision. Further sessions explore how “context,” or how we present ourselves, influences leadership and the way others perceive us. Skills traditionally taught in drama schools but often neglected in business settings are covered, helping participants resonate powerfully with any audience by leading through purpose.

In the final sessions, participants identify their Zone of Leadership Excellence, where their purpose aligns with their organisation’s goals. They will overlay their superpowers onto this zone, gaining radical clarity on how they can make their greatest contribution to a future employer, all through the lens of purpose.

The programme concludes with each participant making a powerful declaration about the change they want to create and the kind of organisations they are most aligned with.

Testimonials for the Purpose-Driven Leadership Journey

"The PDLJ Program taught me greater intentionality in the way I lead. It gave me new tools that sharpened my focus on results and deepened my understanding of my blind spots. It helped me prioritize spending more time in the areas where I thrive, which has made me a stronger, happier, and more confident leader." — Director, National Non-Profit

"This program inspires you to think bigger. Jon and his team bring international experience and global vision to hold up a mirror to you and your organization, challenging you to take ownership of the change you want to be in the world. With passion, dedication, and authenticity, they commit to ensuring you achieve it." — Vice President, Healthcare Non-Profit

"This is by far the best leadership work I have done in 25 years. While my circumstances and challenges haven’t changed, I’ve learned how to change the way I show up around them. And that makes all the difference." — Senior Executive, Global Entertainment Company

"This work has been transformational. I’ve had great leaders, managers, and mentors in the past, but this is next level. This work systematically walks through how our old ways of thinking conspire to keep us small. We’re challenged to investigate what we’re truly here for and what we can achieve as a result. This approach is so comprehensive, meaningful, and easy to understand. The lessons will last me a lifetime." — Talent Director, Global Design Firm

"It’s not just the power of the questions you get asked, it’s Jon and his team's ability to call out false answers. Their business acumen and knowledge of metrics and markets bring immense value to C-suite leaders." — Vice-President, Global Hospitality Group

"I have one thing to say to anyone thinking about doing this work: DO IT!" — CEO, Food & Beverage Company
