The Purple Reign Project “A Night to Remember”

A Special Tribute Concert to one of the greatest musical artists of our time will take place on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at the Loft at the Biscuit Lounge In Louisville KY from 9PM-1AM! This event will commemorate the 45th anniversary of the releasing of Purple Rain in 1984! This concert will feature outstanding lead singer" Junie" Henderson performing as Prince with dazzling vocals and commanding stage presence that captures the spirit of Prince 's electrifying performances.
Henderson will cover the most popular and enduring songs from Prince's cherished music catalog including his biggest hits "Purple Rain," "Let's Go Crazy," "When Doves Cry," "Kiss," "1999" as well as other fan favorites! Edward "Junie" Henderson is a Washington, D.C. native whose singing talent and passion for music were cultivated while growing up in that area. His big break came when he joined the popular Go-Go band E.U. (Experience Unlimited) as a featured singer and songwriter on many of their songs including the classic #4 R&B hit "Taste of Your Love."
With E.U., Henderson has performed on tour around the world, appeared in the Spike Lee film "School Daze," in music videos on MTV and BET, and on national television including Soul Train, Arsenio Hall Show and Showtime at the Apollo. Henderson is a Grammy nominated singer, who is no stranger to accolades. He was the lead vocalist and songwriter for Go-Go legends, E.U! They had 4 charting singles including the #1 hit "Da Butt!"
Being nominated for a Grammy and as a Soul Train Award recipient. In 2016, He was inducted into the African American History Museum on the Mall in Washington, D.C. Louisville's very own V-Groove will share the stage with Junie Henderson and crew to create the ultimate collaboration of musical talent for the Purple Reign project!
This is a grown folks event for the 30+crowd! Dress to Impress for this classy and sophisticated event in a lavish and luxurious venue. Ladies, step out in your finest purple outfit and Fellas, add a touch of purple to your attire. This will truly be a Night to Remember! Featuring DJ K Karm on sound control, Reknowned Local Artist Kayla Green will create a commemorative piece of art LIVE at the event and sold during a silent auction. Special Performance by Tesia Mae! Plus, an incredible dance routine by the KISS Dancers must be seen to believe!
