The Purple Door Presents The Clothesline Project at La PalmeraIn honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month
La Palmera has teamed up with The Purple Door for “The Clothesline Project” supporting October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The shirts on display have been decorated in honor and support of victims. The color purple symbolizing peace, courage, survival, honor, and personal dedication to domestic violence awareness.
On Display October 9 – 26 on the 2nd Floor above La Palmera Cafes Food Court
Decorate your own shirt to show your support!
Community Workshop – Saturday, October 11 from 12:30pm-4:00pm
La Palmera shoppers can visit The Purple Door workshop inside the mall on the second floor above the Food Court to decorate a shirt to be added to the display. The Purple Door will provide the shirts. Those who wish to keep their shirt must bring their own shirt to decorate. Event subject to change. While supplies last.
