Kevin has gigged all over Britain and Ireland and the rest of the known world – from Singapore to Sligo. He's headlined gigs in Johannesburg and Cape Town and regularly plays all the major comedy festivals in Ireland – The Electric Picnic, ATN, The Vodafone Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens, The Galway Comedy Festival, Kilkenomics and etc. He is a regular at The Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Last year he headlined a tour of Asia playing in Thailand, Dubai, Oman and more.Over the last 10 years he has been a regular panel host at Kilkenomics Festival – the world's first festival of Economics and Comedy – as a moderator to financial experts, journalists and investors - adding jokes and keeping the discussions on track.
Kevin appeared on RTE TV's topical news quiz – That's All We Have Time For. He was also the script editor/co-writer of this programme.
He was a writer and performer on RTE TV's satirical comedy show Irish Pictorial Weekly. He has written topical jokes and material for many RTE radio shows.
Kevin acted in RTE TV's Bridget and Eamonn and was Fr Cave in Fr. Ted (the one on the aeroplane). Once upon a time he wrote for Alexei Sayle's TV show. He has written and performed comedy on many BBC TV and Radio productions including The O'Show and Haywire.
Kevin is a member of The Dublin Comedy Improv - the longest running, and best, improvisation group in Ireland. He has a new show with his sister Anne called: 'A Nonsense of Ireland' – sketch, song and stand-up about Ireland.' Last year they were invited to perform the show at the Galway Vodafone Comedy Carnival and this year, so far, The Bray Comedy Festival.
Kevin has also performed at The Edinburgh festival with his comedy band 'THE KEVIN GILDEAS' which received rave reviews:

He supported Reg D Hunter on his Irish tour 2 years ago and did some supports slots on his English tour.
