The James M. Dixon Foundation for Alzheimer's Research and Support presents The Purple Affair 22.
This year The Affair will be held at The Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel on August 21, 2022. This is the 4th year for The Purple Affair, which supports scholarships, the Alzheimer's Community, Caregivers, and giants in the field. This year, The Purple Affair will celebrate the following greats in the community: Congressman Sanford Bishop, Dr. Erika K. Brown, Mrs. Scarlet Pressley-Brown, Mrs. Tanja Goode, Dr. Angela Johnson, Sheriff Patrick Labat, Ms. Serena McElrath, Mrs. Pamela Williams, Mrs. Phyllis Kitchens-Thurmond, and Mrs. Carolyn Young. This year, we are excited to have actors and jazz artists Keith David and Maria Howell, along with Comedian JSmiles bringing entertainment. As an added surprise, watch Kolepeace perform his artistry live! There will also be an amazing silent auction.
