The Puncturists bring their own brand of female-fronted melodic punk down from Yorkshire while local legends The Amber Squad provide hard driving power pop/new wave for what is all set to be a fantastic evening of singalong, danceable fun and frolics. To add some more poignant local interest, The Puncturists bass player is Dale Farrow, veteran of the 1980s Stamford music scene who lived with his family in the flat above Peatling and Cawdrons on Broad Steet in the 60s when his dad ran the shop and pub and whose cellars are now The Voodoo Lounge at Mama Liz's. So this really is a case of "Dale's coming home"!
Also, with both bands containing former March To The Grave bandmates from the 80s, Dale and Magic, who knows what might happen and what could possibly go wrong?!
This is a night not to be missed.
