A special night of acoustic folk, roots and blue from a mix of cultures. We are so proud and delighted to introduce AYDIN YILDRIM from Trowbridge, who performs on a baglama. A pre-curser to the Westernised Acoustic guitar. Aydin will play some traditional Turkish folk for us.
Opening the show will be Frome's Sue Harding. Performing traditional acoustic folk music. Stories of love and loss, stories of yesteryear and much more besides.
Headlining the show is AMIT DATTANI, a British blues, roots and folk singer of extraordinary talent from Birmingham.
He has garnered attention from the likes of BBC Radio 2, BBC 6
Music, Americana UK and fRoots, with his nimble finger-picking, expertly crafted songwriting and witty banter. Named in ‘Best Gigs
of 2023’ by Tradfolk, Amit is a joy to watch live, with recent performances at Warwick Folk Festival, Upton Blues, Moseley Folk Festival and Birmingham Symphony Hall to name a few.
