About this Event

Join the Historic Pullman Foundation and Pullman resident, Andy Bullen, as we look at some of the rich history and role of Hotel Florence in the lives of Pullman residents.

We will review the storied lives of three hotel managers, J.C. Acheson, Baron von Fritsch, and Bill Fisher and newspaper account of a meeting of the Pullman Pleasure Club in the Hotel. Then we'll look briefly at the troubled history between the Pullman Bicycle races and the Hotel. Finally, we will explore the role that the Historic Pullman Foundation played in saving the structure.
