Bring your strongest verses, your boldest stanzas, and compete for the CASH PRIZE for the best poetic protest. Let your voice be heard, your message be felt, and your passion be seen.
Poets imagine being surrounded by powerful art as you use an actual MEGAPHONE/BULLHORN to perform your passionate pieces of purpose. You can walk the crowd, stomp the stage, whatever takes to let the people know that you ain't playing any more.
$150 Cash Prize for the best poems or spokenword artist of the evening.
Slam Rules Apply. 3 minutes with a 10 second grace period.
Highest schoring poet wins. $100. 2nd place gets $50.
