In 1998 Dreamworks set out to reinvent the biblical epic for a new generation with their animated retelling of the Exodus story. What they produced is a film that is so sweeping and stunning that it rivals the greatest works of Cecil B. Demille. The film was further enhanced by the musical talent of Hans Zimmer, and a cast that included the likes of Patrick Stewart, Helen Mirren, and Jeff Goldblum. I don't want to say this film is better than THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, but it gets extremely close.
