About this Event
A monthly opportunity to meet fellow pregnant women and new mums in a relaxed setting whilst being able to pick the brains of two experienced doulas.
Sam and Ellie have a wealth of experience, having attended over 30 births between them and worked with numerous mothers and their partners in the postnatal stage as well.
This group is not a structured class like NCT. Rather, it’s a laid back chance to ask all your nagging questions in a loving and non-judgmental environment. As doulas, Sam and Ellie’s number one priority is always arming the women they serve with evidence-based information to aid them in making their own empowered and informed choices about theirs and their baby’s care.
We will have monthly discussion topics to loosely guide our meetings and will also bring in things to demo like slings and cloth nappies, plus a lending library of birthy books to leaf through. But, more than anything, we want this space to be a safe one in which to ask any and all questions that might arise for you throughout your pregnancy and postnatal journey, or just to have a bit of a chat with other women who are in the same boat.
This group is free to attend, with hot drinks and other refreshments available to purchase from The Handmade Brownie Company Eatery (there is no obligation to do so).
