There will even be a chance to try meditating.William Smith, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel engineer, has a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. As an Army officer, he pioneered this new technology within the Department of Defense. William is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and has held many leadership positions during his successful 20-year military career.
William has always been passionate about meditation, which he has incorporated into his life for over 50 years. Since retiring, he has spent a lot of time volunteering as a summer camp director for 22 years, teaching children how to meditate and inspiring them to incorporate ethical living into their lives.
He has taught numerous classes on this important topic to diverse audiences. William enjoys traveling and giving talks on meditation in the US and internationally.
